For Social Transformation
What would a society that doesn't just tolerate our ever-expanding diversity but elevates it, where our humanity is upheld as our greatest virtue, and where our unyielding belief in our inescapable mutuality and inherent worth is constantly reinforced look like and how do we become one?
That's the vision that drives SeaChange.
Our starting proposition is that social transformation, the forming of a more perfect union is not just possible, but that only a society that embraces the shift, that aligns itself with the unprecedented ways we, the people are also shifting is the only kind that has a future. Our mission? Empower each of us to transform us into a society that works for all of us, and to make us aware of our power.

New Narrative - Campaigns that combat cultural toxicity
We Belong. Social History Project - Every story matters. - Writing ALL our humanitarian heroes -- from members of the LGBTQIA+ community and their allies to the members of the original Rainbow Coalition, from women to the poor, from immigrants to people of all faiths -- back into history.
Soul Work - The work we do on our own souls.
From the Pilgrims whose Mayflower Compact established democracy as their governing structure to the Quakers, the heart and soul of the abolitionist movement, from the Jews who gave or risked their lives to end segregation in America to the multi-faith contingent that bolstered the march from Selma to Montgomery, from the nuns who, in the early days of AIDS, were the first line of defense in caring for the dying to the clergy who used their bodies to form a protective barrier between 2020 protestors and federal troops, it is people of spiritual consciousness who have called us to do and be better. But those actions weren't spontaneous. They were the outgrowth of deep work so many had done on their own souls, allowing the people they could be at their best to emerge. This project is about learning from them and passing those lessons on.

"Just do right. Right may not be expedient, it may not be profitable, but it will satisfy your soul. It brings you the kind of protection that bodyguards can’t give you. So try to live your life in a way that you will not regret years of useless virtue and inertia and timidity. Take up the battle. Take it up. It’s yours. This is your life. This is your world." - Maya Angelou
